Expiration date of the product has already passed

Here’s what to do in situations when you notice that the expiration date of the product has already passed.

Updated this week

At first, we recommend you to check if the marked expiration date is a 'best before' date or a 'use by' date?

There is a simple rule: according to the Food Authority's guidelines, products that have passed their 'best before' date can be sold, as they are usually still usable a good while after the date! The best way to check the usefulness of products is to look, smell and taste them.

In turn, products that have passed their 'use by' date should NOT be sold or eaten after the marked date.

So if you have received an unusable 'best before' date OR a product that has passed its 'use by' date, please report it in the app.

You can find the instruction on how to do this from here.

After sending your review, our customer support team will get back to you as soon as possible – usually in the next day during weekdays.
