Why am I not getting notifications about offers?

This article lists some of the most common reasons why some people are having problems with getting notifications.

Step 1: Allow notifications

  • First, check that you've allowed notifications in the app by following the path in the app:

    • 'Me' -> 'Notifications' -> Toggle 'Allow notifications' to active if it's been inactive

  • If notifications are allowed in the app, itโ€™s also a good idea to check that theyโ€™re enabled in your deviceโ€™s settings! The steps for this vary depending on your device and operating system, so follow the instructions below:

Step 2: Enable app to use your background location

  • ResQ's notifications are mainly based on your location โ€“ therefore having this setting enabled ensures that you'll receive the notifications!

  • To enable this, follow the instructions for the device youโ€™re using the ResQ Club app on.
    โ€‹


Step 3: Check your notification preferences

  • As you have possibilities to customize your notifications in ResQ Club's app, it's good to check that your notification settings meet with your actual preferences and expectations!

  • To check these, open 'Notifications' view in the app, under 'Me' tab.
    โ€‹

    • Check your current preferences under 'Notifications from close by' view

    • Under 'Dietary preferences', check that your preferences meet with your expectations
      โ€‹


Step 4: Check your device's power-saving features

Some Android devices have power save modes, which might prevent the ResQ app from receiving notifications or might cause notifications to appear with a long delay.

    4. Tap Storage
