This article lists the do's and don'ts of selling products on ResQ.

These guidelines help you to make the most out of ResQ. When following them, you'll find more satisfied customers, receive better reviews, and make more sales! ๐Ÿ™


The guidelines for ResQ venues

โœ… Instead...

... to sell products that are not or are about to be surplus.

... only sell products that are or are about to be surplus!

... to sell products at regular prices.

... the price should be clearly discounted, like -50% (or -30% at a minimum).

... to leave unmentioned that the food is prepared before the selling day.

... selling food that is made yesterday is perfectly fine, but remember to always mention this in the offer's description. For instance 'sushi from yesterday' or 'last night's cinnamon buns'.

... to sell spoiled food (e.g. inedible or rotten food, the expiry date has passed, etc.)

... make sure your offers are safe for your customer's health. Selling products that have passed their 'best before' date but are still usable is okay!

... to have bad reviews above 20%.

... anything below 5% is great!
