Step 2: First login and completing your profile π
Step 2: First login and completing your profile π
Now that your account is ready, it's time to log in to the ResQ Partner Web App for the first time and complete your profile! This will take just a few minutes of your time.
Here's how to do it:
Go to the ResQ Partner Web App and log in with your credentials.
βIf you have any issues with logging in, please contact us (via chat or email at info@resq-club.com). We are happy to help you out!
β
Once logged in, open the settings menu by clicking the small down arrow in the upper right corner, next to your venue's name. Choose "Account Settings" from the menu.
ββ
Next, in the "Information for payments" section, fill in the required fields and click 'Save changes' button.
Next, open the settings menu again and choose "Public profile".
βIn the "Partner description" field, you can provide more information about your venue. It's common to include detailed instructions on how to find your venue, especially if it's located inside a shopping mall or if the location isn't obvious from the address alone.
βDefine the "Offer pickup times" for your ResQ offers.
β
That's it β now your venue's profile is complete and you can start selling. π
Feel free to explore our Partner Web App and discover what else you can do and find there!
Step 3: Make your first offer π€©
Step 3: Make your first offer π€©
All set, so let's make your first ResQ offer together!
It's possible to make a completely new offer every time you create an offer or to use ready-made offer templates to make the publishing quicker and easier. Templates are especially handy if your offers tend to be similar!
For this first offer, let's start by creating an offer from scratch, and saving it as a template for future use. π€
If you use ResQ with a tablet or mobile device, start by downloading an app called ResQ Partner from App Store or Play Store. With computer, you can use the Partner Web App.
βOnce logged in, click the "+ New Offer" button in the "Offers" view and then select "+ Create New Offer" from the menu that appears. The "New Offer" view will open. ‡οΈ
β
βToggle or tick the box to "Save as template" (if you don't want to save this offer as a template, you can skip this).
βName your offer and describe it in more detail!
βWe recommend keeping the name short and informative.
E.g. "6 pizza slices" or "Surplus candies 500 g"
β
In the description, provide customers with more information about the product (e.g., ingredients, flaws of the products, why it's sold as surplus, etc.).
E.g. "Pepperoni and margherita slices, leftover from buffet"
β
Add the price and quantity to your offer.
βProducts sold on ResQ must have at least a 30% discount from your original prices. We highly recommend offering closer to 50% discounts.
βThe minimum price for an offer is 1.00 β¬. If your offer would be cheaper than this, create a bundle of products instead!
E.g. "2 cinnamon rolls"
β
Choose the type for your offer from predefined options (meal, dessert, flowers, etc.).
Select optional tags to your offers (dietary fit, protein source, cuisine, other) from predefined options if you wish.
These tags are visible to customers and will help them find the products they seek, so we recommend using tags if possible!
βBe careful when choosing dietary fit tags: if you tag your offer, e.g., with 'Vegan' but it turns out not to be suitable for a vegan diet, we will have to refund the customer due to the incorrect information. If you are unsure if the tag fits your offer, it's better not to use tags.
β
Define order and pick up times.
You can publish an offer to be ordered and picked up today OR tomorrow. Please note that the order time and pick-up time must always be on the same day.
βWhen creating a new offer, your pick-up times are already set based on the default times you added previously when you completed your venue's profile. You can always make changes to the pick-up time for the specific offer before you publish it, if you wish!
β
β
Publish the offer! π€ It becomes available to ResQ Club's app for customers. Now let's see who buys your first offer!
Step 4: First offer sold π
Step 4: First offer sold π
Congrats on selling your first offer β that's the way to go! π€©
When your offer gets sold, it will be shown in your 'Orders' tab in the app instantly. All of the orders from the same day are listed there. Once sold, the offer is then automatically removed from the available offers.
For each order you can see the name of the customer and the name and quantity of the offer theyβve purchased. All incoming orders are already paid for in the app.
β
What happens next?
Prepare the product(s) to be picked up
βWhen the customer walks in to fetch their ResQ purchases, you can ask for their name and ask them to show the receipt in the ResQ Club app or their email
If the customer has a receipt but the order does not appear in the Orders section, refresh the Orders page.
β
Check the name of the customer in the 'Orders' list (this is optional, receipt is already a good enough proof of the order)
βGive the customer their order and mark it as picked up in the 'Orders' list.
βNote that a customer may have placed multiple different orders, so make sure they get everything they've ordered.
βVoilΓ‘! π€© You will receive payment for your sold products as we pay providers their share of the sales monthly. The payouts are made by the 5th business day of each month.
βPublish your next offer! π You can find the offer template in the 'Offer templates' tab if you created it previously.
