Dietary settings

You can choose which dietary restrictions the portion fits when creating an offer. Dietary labels are important but not mandatory.

If you are uncertain whether a meal fits a certain diet, it is better to leave offer untagged or 'downgrade' the tags. For instance, if the meal might be vegan, but you aren't certain, it's better to tag it as vegatarian (lacto-ovo) than vegan..

This way, you can avoid situations where customers have a bad experience or require refunds because a portion was marked as suitable for a diet it didn't actually fit.

Otherwise, it's always beneficial to use dietary tags. Customers can choose their desired diet in the app, so they'll only get notified about the offers that are suitable for their diet. So by using tags you are also improving the visibility of your offers and increasing your sales!

Note that some dietary options are included into one another automatically. For example, if you tag your dish vegan, it is automatically also tagged as milk free and vegetarian.
